Advanced Family Dentistry
THE DENTAL CARE CLINTON TOWNSHIP AND MACOMB COUNTY FAMILIES HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!
You and your family want what is best so we offer the very best in health-centered dentistry for the whole family. We know that even minor oral health problems can affect your whole body.
Instead of waiting for oral problems to affect your health, we choose to see the larger picture by restoring and then maintaining your optimal oral health.
Our team believes in providing truly non-judgmental, compassionate, personalized care, treating not only the symptom that may have brought you into our office but also, more importantly, the cause of the problem. We take time to talk with you, listen to you, and provide you with a thorough and honest evaluation of your overall oral health. It’s not just the care you need – it’s the personal care you want.
Comprehensive General Care
Keeping your smile healthy is easy when you remember your routine dental care… and a big part of that routine is your annual exam. Annual oral exams are just as crucial for keeping your smile and your body healthy as any of the other routine exams you schedule for yourself and for your children every year.
Regular visits ensure that you are maintaining good oral health with our comprehensive examinations. With the use of our intra-oral camera, we are able to communicate with you what we see and educate you on the treatment we are suggesting. The images we secure can be provided to your insurance provider for their records. We also offer the benefits of digital radiography, which is not only an excellent diagnostic tool, but it decreases the radiation exposure to the patient by over 90%. Because the digital image is instant, there is less waiting time. The enlarged image on the computer screen allows us to see greater detail and gain a better understanding of the proper course of treatment. Digital radiography is environmentally friendly; does not require the use of chemicals for processing and it’s paperless! If these problems go untreated, root canals, gum surgery and removal of teeth could become the only treatment options available.
During your comprehensive exam, we will provide you with nutritional counseling and review your medications to see if any you are currently taking are the cause of existing oral health issues. In addition to checking for tooth decay, we do a periodontal exam, bite analysis, and cosmetic evaluation, as well as a screening for oral cancer and sleep apnea.
Regular cleanings prevent a build-up of stains, keep your gums in top shape and clear away harmful bacteria. Your regularly scheduled dental cleaning helps to keep your teeth and gums healthy and can aid in the reduction of your risk of heart disease and strokes.
Sleep Apnea Treatments
If you or your partner snores and never feels rested, more than nightly noise may be disturbing your sleep. Sleep apnea is a common disorder that can cause a person to stop breathing for periods of time. This lack of oxygen can lead to chronic fatigue, daytime sleepiness, headaches, irritability and impaired thinking, among other distressing symptoms. We’d like to help you find relief and get a good night’s sleep. Talk to us about our sleep apnea treatments today!
