General and Family Dentistry

Choosing a new dentist is an important decision. Our goal is to make that process feel comfortable, clear, and supportive from the very beginning.

Schedule an appointment

Whether it’s a child's first visit or dental care for your whole family, we take the time to understand your concerns, evaluate your overall health, and identify potential issues early. You’ll leave each appointment with a clear understanding of your oral health and personalized recommendations tailored to your needs. For over 40 years, we have cared for patients of all ages throughout Clinton Township and Macomb County, prioritizing prevention, early detection, and long-term oral health.

Comprehensive Exams

Thorough evaluations designed to support your long-term oral health.

We take a whole-body approach to oral health, recognizing its connection to your overall well-being. Your exam is thorough and individualized: we evaluate your teeth, gums, and bite while also considering your medical history, medications, and lifestyle habits.
Your comprehensive exam includes:

  • Review of your medical and dental history

  • Detailed evaluation of teeth and oral structures

  • Review of your medical and dental history

  • Periodontal evaluation

  • Oral cancer screening

  • Assessment of your bite and overall function

We take time to review our findings and guide you through your options with clarity.

Hygiene Cleanings

Maintain healthy teeth and gums while reducing inflammation and disease.

Hygiene visits focus on managing plaque and bacteria that contribute to inflammation and disease. Regular cleanings play an important role in maintaining healthy teeth and gums, as well as supporting overall health. Each visit is tailored to your needs, with attention to areas of buildup, gum health, and long-term stability. We take time to review your health history and oral health, so we can provide personalized guidance.

Fluoride

Strengthen and protect teeth, reducing the risk of cavities over time.

Fluoride strengthens enamel and helps protect teeth from decay. It can also reverse early areas of demineralization.

Sealants

Strengthen and protect teeth, reducing the risk of cavities over time.

Sealants are thin, protective coatings placed on the chewing surfaces of teeth, where cavities are more likely to develop. They act as a barrier against bacteria and food buildup, and are especially beneficial for children as their teeth develop.

Pediatric Dentistry

Care for little ones that supports healthy development and lifelong habits.

We care for children of all ages, with a focus on creating positive early experiences and supporting healthy development. Early visits allow us to monitor growth, identify concerns early, and help build strong habits lasting into adulthood.

The American Dental Association recommends a child’s first dental visit by age one or when the first tooth appears. These early visits help establish a foundation for lifelong oral health.

We take time to ensure each visit feels comfortable and positive, helping build confidence each visit.

Sleep Apnea Screening

Early screening to identify signs of sleep-disordered breathing and support your overall health.

Sleep apnea is often underdiagnosed and can have a meaningful impact on both oral health and overall well-being. Dentists are often among the first to recognize signs of sleep-disordered breathing during routine exams.

We screen for sleep apnea and help guide you toward the appropriate next steps for further evaluation and care.

Periodontal Care

Treatment focused on managing gum health and supporting long-term stability.

Gum disease can develop gradually and often without noticeable symptoms, making early detection and management essential. We closely monitor your gum and bone health and provide treatment when needed to reduce inflammation and prevent progression of periodontal disease.

→ Scaling and root planing
Scaling and root planing removes bacteria and buildup below the gumline. This treatment helps reduce inflammation, support healing, and stabilize gum and bone health.

Periodontal maintenance
Periodontal maintenance visits are recommended for patients with a history of gum disease. These visits help manage bacteria over time and maintain the health and stability achieved with treatment.

Nightguards

Custom protection to reduce the effects of clenching, grinding, and jaw strain.

Custom nightguards protect your teeth from the effects of clenching and grinding (bruxism). Made for a precise fit, they help reduce strain on your teeth, muscles, and jaw during sleep and support comfort and function.

If more advanced treatment is needed, we also offer restorative and cosmetic care, as well as emergency services when concerns arise.

FAQ

How often should I visit the dentist?

For many patients, visits are recommended every six months. However, the ideal schedule depends on your individual oral health, and we may recommend more frequent visits to best support your long-term health.

At what age should my child first see the dentist?

The American Dental Association recommends a child’s first dental visit by age one or when the first tooth appears.

What if I feel anxious about dental visits?

You are not alone — many patients feel some level of anxiety about dental visits. Our approach is calm, unhurried, and focused on clear communication so you always feel comfortable and informed.

For additional support, we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), a safe and effective option for both children and adults that can help you feel more relaxed during treatment.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Call our office, Schedule Online, or contact our team. We’re here to assist with scheduling, insurance questions, and all your dental care needs.

Ready to schedule your visit?

Do you treat children?

Yes, we care for children of all ages. Early visits help build healthy habits, monitor development, and create a positive foundation for lifelong oral health.

What if I have gum disease?

Gum disease can often be managed effectively when detected early. We offer periodontal care, including scaling and root planing and ongoing maintenance, to support long-term gum health.

Do you offer treatment for teeth grinding and clenching?

Yes. Teeth grinding and clenching can have different causes and don’t always exclusively occur at night. We evaluate your bite and function to understand what may be contributing to the issue and recommend the most appropriate treatment.

For some patients, this may include a custom nightguard. In other cases, a different approach, such as a Kois deprogrammer, may be recommended to help improve how the teeth come together and function.
